HIROKO KOSHINO 2016 Spring Summer Collection under the theme of ‘'surreal art book’’ was shown on Thursday, October 15th, at Yebisu Garden Hall.
Models became colourful flowers as they appeared through the big white paper cut out facade, onto the catwalk.Inspired by Henri Matisse’s Cut- Outs the Designer presented 65 flower influenced Looks, which received extensive applause from the audience.

In 1984, Hiroko Koshino become the first Japanese designer to showcase a collection at the Jing Jiang Club in Shanghai, China. HIROKO KOSHINO Paris Collection was acclaimed as a masterpiece, and at that time the collection was embellished with embroidery made in China. Koshino thought the people of China should know the embroidery skills they possess are of world class standard, and the techniques inherited from generation to generation should be cherished.
Chinese people have an exclusive beauty, different to that of the Japanese, and in order to let their exquisite beauty shine Koshino says it is also important to add little spice by having a unique lifestyle and to understand what suits you as an individual.

Ginza KURAMA-KAI is a recital group consisting of long established business owners of Ginza with artistic skill’s.Hiroko Koshino whose stage name is Kineya Katsurokujyo performed Shamisen ‘’Ninin-wankyu’’and ‘’Miyako-furyu’’.During the Shamisen performance of‘’Miyako-furyu’’ Classical Japanese dance performer, Shinbashi Geiko, Tami and Hidechiyo added an extra touch of class and received great applause from the audience.From morning to the evening, the wide variety of performances delighted the dedicated audience.

Hiroko Koshino selected the film ‘’The Lady’’ about Ms. Aung San Suu kyi, the leader of the pro-democracy movement in Myanmar.This film is very memorable to Hiroko Koshino as she feels empathy towards the kind of problem-solving ability that is unique to women. Koshino adds "A person with a strong sense of responsibility and purpose is very powerful."
